Eh 9.24.08

This site has pretty must depleted into nothing. Ever since I was forced to change from .com to .org, I'm literally getting about a tenth of my previous views, and no one ever uses this site anymore. School has also been pretty hectic, since my classes are all pretty tough and demand a lot of work. I'm not really quitting or giving up this site, but I don't really see a need to focus on having to update this as much as I used to (which wasn't a lot to begin with). I think most of my views came from sites that found me from places other than MySpace, and since I have a new URL and only about five people have changed my link, there's none coming in anymore. Oh well.

So, Here's What Happened 9.12.08

Okay, so some of you might have realized that my site has been down for a couple weeks or so. Well, it's finally back up. The only issue is that, for many reasons, I cannot get my .com domain back, so I had to switch to .org. I suppose it isn't that bad. I just hope that people that used to visit me at starttocope.com will somehow find out that I switched. It was also a pain to go through every page and change everything from .com to .org, but oh well. After this, I'll have to go around to all my affiliates and tell them about my domain change too. Finally, I need to get my hostee's subdomains back up. It's so much to do, haha.

As far as updates go, there haven't been much lately, mainly becuase of my domain troubles. I did make some pixels, but they are mainly for use by sites, but they still look nice. I think I'm going to make some Halloween layouts and banners in the next couple of weeks, since making seasonal content is my absolute favorite. I expecially can't wait for Christmas, there is going to be so much new stuff. Haha. I'll probably end up using some of the same backgrounds as I did in my old seasonal layouts, but the news ones will have much better stylesheets. The old ones up right now don't look good at all. Haha. I also have a neat new Halloween theme made for my MySpace, but I figured I would wait until the time came closer before I put it up.

So, I started school last Tuesday (September 3). It was alright. I get to be in a few neat classes, like Yearbook and Forensics, and my English class is pretty cool. But beyond that, it's pretty boring. Haha. I was going to write a whole huge blog explaining all of my classes in detail, but that would of been too long and I'm too lazy to type all of that out. So I guess no one is going to fully know how my first day went. Haha.

Stupid Cutenews 8.16.08

Cutenews is really starting to get on my nerves. Every five minutes I'm on, there is a new spam comment. So, I'm going to need to change to Halo Scan for the moment, until I can find a blogging program I can actually figure out how to work. So, pretty much, that means that this blogging program is going to be up for quite a while. Haha.

In other site-related news, I actually finished my to-do list for last month. Woo! That hasn't happened before, because I'm too lazy to actually make content most of the time. I made the list a little smaller than the last one, but I got a whole new section of layouts that look good with the new navigation. That's always good. But, I'm sorry for the lack of updates this month. Even though everyone says that, I'll still let everyone know. I've made a few more default layouts, so everyone can expect a few more rows of layouts soon, hopefully. And, in conclusion, I've not really been on my MySpace account much. I don't see much need for being on there anymore. I usually get on once every couple of days. So, this site will probably be a more efficient way for contacting me than my MySpace.

In school-related news, I dropped AP History. Haha, I'm such a loser. Mainly, it's because of the fact that I don't want my GPA to completely suffer, and looking at my summer work, I knew it was going to. So, in my junior year, I'll probably end up taking AP Government to make up for my laziness this year. Oh well, I mean, I'm not taking any sophomore classes as it is, so I can take a break in the History department. But for English, I'm just about finished with all my summer work. I still need to finish a packet and write a paper, but I should be able to finish that before September 2. I still can't believe that summer is almost over. This is a bummer. I have orientation on Monday, and that's where you get your schedule, locker, textbooks, and get your school picture taken. Not fun. But, I suppose it is a little necessary, because if I don't go, I'll be way behind when school does finally start.

Now, I'll move onto life-related news. Really, nothing too spectacular has been going on lately. My family made me go camping last weekend. It was terrible, mainly because it rained almost the whole entire time, so our camper was basically sinking in mud. I hate camping anyways, too. So, that deffinitely was not a trip to treasure in my heart. Next weekend, at least, I get to go up north, which I absolutely love doing. It's one of my favorite places to be. Much better than camping. Haha. My dad refuses to actually go on a real vacation, becuase he apparently hates leaving the house. I've been begging him forever, but he won't. And, I just realized a few days ago that I haven't been out of the state in over two years. That's just tragic, if you ask me. Haha. But anyways, I've pretty much been spending most of my free time reading. Since my last update, when I had just finished reading the His Dark Materials triology (which I absolutely recommend that you read), I've been mostly reading the Twilight Saga. I just started reading Breaking Dawn today, and I'm kind of nervous to finish it, since I've heard very mixed reviews about the conclusion. Hopefully I'm not disappointed, since I've really liked the books so far. I already have the "Official Guide" pre-ordered, and I'm waiting for Midnight Sun to come out. Haha, I'm such a nerd.

Also, I think I have the Firefox issues figured out. I think I'm going to have to go through and update all of the pages to make sure Firefox users can actually see all of my content. So, for everyone who uses Firefox and is trying to view my site and thinking to themselves, "I can't see anything! I hate this site!" I'll have those trouble fixed, hopefully, soon. Haha. And, well, I guess that wraps up this blog entry. Bye!
